While law school rankings are always subjective and should be taken with a huge grain of salt (far more salt than is healthy in any of our diets!), these rankings still remain a source of intrigue…especially to prelaw and law school students. One of the better known sources of law school rankings is Above The Law, which just came out with its 2025 “worldwide” law school rankings.
I am pleased to say that the United States owns (1) the top-selected law school, (2) three of the top five law schools, and (3) seven of the top 10 law schools, according to Above The Law’s rankings.
You can read the Above the Law article and details here. For those of you just interested in the selections, here is its ranking of the top 10 law schools in the world:
- Harvard University
- University of Oxford
- University of Cambridge
- Yale University
- Stanford University
- London School of Economics and Political Science
- University of California, Berkeley
- Columbia University
- New York University
- National University of Singapore
