To enroll in one of my ScoreItUp classroom courses, or to see a list of live course options, please visit Classroom. You have the option of taking “single,” “double” or “triple” courses:
- a”single” course consists of 46 total in-class hours (30 instruction hours with me, and four proctored mock exams);
- a “double” course consists of 92 total in-class hours (60 instruction hours with me, and eight proctored mock exams); and
- a “triple” course consists of 138 total in-class hours (90 instruction hours with me, and 12 proctored mock exams).
- All classroom courses also include ScoreItUp’s online video course, and massive online document library. The “double” and “triple” courses also include my detailed Personal Statement and Writing Sample video tutorials.
- All classroom courses include detailed instruction and homework practice with the digital LSAT (no content changes are being made to the LSAT, just a new electronic format).
Here is an overview of how my live (classroom) courses are presented:
- Real LSATs (previously released official LSATs) are used for all class lessons, mock exams and homework.
- Throughout each lesson, I provide tips, strategies and explanations to help you understand all of the fundamental concepts tested on the LSAT, and to develop the logic and “legal reasoning” skills needed to answer LSAT questions accurately and efficiently.
- We typically concentrate on two of the three graded sections (Analytical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Reading Comprehension) each class lesson.
- During class lessons, we work through an extensive number of LSAT problems and quizzes to help demonstrate:
- step-by-step strategies on how to attack each section and question type
- common tricks used by the testwriters and how to deal with them
- how to recognize and reject wrong answers accurately and efficiently
- improve timing and efficiency
- reinforce, reinforce, and reinforce!
- The core skills taught in class lessons also are available on video and in written format in SIU’s online database.
- We fully cover the key strategies taught in other courses, but much more. A key difference between SIU and other courses is the depth in which the material is taught.
- Each week, you also will have the option of taking a full-length mock exam with a live proctor in a classroom environment, designed to precisely simulate the official LSAT.
- Detailed explanations of the mock exams will be provided online to give you immediate feedback on the test.
- Homework assignments using real LSATs are provided each week for further reinforcement.
