2027 Application Deadlines For All Law Schools

It’s just around the corner: if you plan to begin law school in Fall 2027, it’s time to begin thinking about the application process!  Law school application deadlines vary, so you may want to see this 2027 law school application deadlines for all law schools  for the dates of any specific law schools.

Here are a few general things to keep in mind:

1. The 2027 application season begins in September 2026 for most law schools.
2. If you are seeking “early decision,” or if you want to take advantage of the benefits of an early application, most law schools will impose a deadline between November 1-15, 2026.
3. The final application deadlines for most law schools will be between February 1 and May 1, 2027, but some law schools will accept later applications.
4. As a general rule, the higher-ranked law schools (e.g., T14 law schools) impose earlier and more strict deadlines than other law schools.
5. Applying early can have modest benefits, but it’s more important that your application (primarily LSAT score and undergraduate GPA) be as strong as possible.
6. As I often tell my ScoreItUp students, “a good LSAT score is much more important than an early LSAT score.”
