Addison D.’s 21-Point LSAT Score Increase

UCSB student Addison D. (go Gauchos!) is the latest ScoreItUp superstar, earning a very impressive 169 on the August 2025 LSAT – a 21-point score increase (compared to her proctored exam score prior to her ScoreItUp training)!

Addison is an extremely active college student who has been involved in a wide variety of extracurricular activities, including authoring a global affairs journal. She plans to practice environmental law after law school.

As for Addison’s LSAT score, here are some thoughts to consider:

  • Addison’s initial 148 LSAT practice score (prior to her ScoreItUp training) was below the mid-point “percentile rank.” Most students score in the 120s-140s when first starting their LSAT Prep.
  • An official LSAT score of 148 would make it difficult to get into any accredited law schools (even low-ranked ones), and likely would make it extremely challenging to get accepted into any Tier 1 or Tier 2 law schools.
  • By contrast, Addison’s official 169 LSAT score on the August 2025 exam is likely to cause her to get accepted into a wide range of Tier 1 law schools, as well as earning substantial merit-based scholarships.
  • Addison’s 169 LSAT score also makes her competitive at many of the top-ranked T-14 law schools.

Finally, here are some of Addison’s thoughts on ScoreItUp: “I loved ScoreItUp – not only is Mark an exciting and personable teacher, but his online resources are incredibly helpful. It was nice to get in-depth explanations during the live online lessons and also use his recorded lectures and exam keys on my own time. I would highly recommend it to anyone preparing for the LSAT.”

Thank you for your kind words, Addison…and congrats on a job very well done!
