Choosing Among ScoreItUp LSAT Prep Options

There are a variety of different ways to prep for the LSAT, and ScoreItUp is designed to cater to a wide variety of students. Here are the various benefits and drawbacks of the various ScoreItUp options:

  • ScoreItUp’s LIVE Options:  Most students opt to take one of my “live online” courses (in real time on Zoom). These courses are extremely comprehensive, allow you to ask questions during and after live course lessons, provide structure to your studying, give you full access to all of ScoreItUp’s massive online resources and offer a tremendous “bang for the buck.” The only possible downsides are that they are (1) a little more expensive than the self-paced video course options, and (2) don’t provide as much individual attention as 1-on-1 tutoring. But ScoreItUp’s “live online” courses tend to be the Goldilocks solution for most LSAT Prep students’ needs, and you can always supplement your course with some 1-on-1 tutoring if you feel that would be helpful. [Note: you also can attend my “live online” course in-person if you are in or near Orange County, California.]
  • ScoreItUp’s 1-on-1 Options: I offer full 1-on-1 ScoreItUp courses or 1-on-1 tutoring (either to supplement a “live online” course or on its own).  The advantage of 1-on-1 instruction is that it can be fully customized to your needs. In addition, there is an unlimited ability to ask questions. The downside is that 1-on-1 instruction is a more expensive option (although ScoreItUp’s tutoring rates, and the credentials of its tutors, are likely to be vastly superior to large test prep company options). However, adding 2-10 hours of individual tutoring to a ScoreItUp “live online” course (at a discounted rate) can often be a very manageable and worthwhile investment in your future.
  • ScoreItUp’s Self-Paced Video Options: The big advantages here are the low price and the massive amount of online resources you have to choose from. I also provide you with guidance so you’re not “on your own.” Video course options do require you to stay on track, monitor your own studying and structure your own environment. You also have a more limited ability to ask questions compared to the “live online” courses. If you’re ok with all of that, ScoreItUp’s video courses are an excellent way to get a massive amount of useful LSAT Prep instruction at a very affordable price. And you can always supplement your self-paced course with some 1-on-1 tutoring or upgrade to a “live online” course if you feel that would be beneficial.
  • ScoreItUp’s Personal Statement And Law School Application Assistance: Finally, don’t forget that I also offer separate packages to assist you with your personal statement and law school applications. And all “live online” courses include FREE access to ScoreItUp’s extremely helpful 1-hour video tutorial on your personal statement.
