In the Spotlight: the Taylor K. Story

Congratulations to ScoreItUp student Taylor K. (SIU Summer ’14) on her 16-point LSAT score increase (compared to her initial mock exam score) before receiving her LSAT Prep training at ScoreItUp!

Here are a few points worth considering when evaluating Taylor’s rise from a practice LSAT score of 148 to her rock-solid, official LSAT score of 164 on the September 2014 LSAT:

  • That 16-point LSAT increase is dramatically more significant than a 16 percent (or percentile) increase.  In fact, her score improvement represents a whopping 52 percentile score increase!
  • Put another way, Taylor was taken from an initial practice exam score (using a real LSAT under proctored and strictly timed classroom conditions designed to simulate the official LSAT) that was below average to an official LSAT score that was below only 8.4% of people in the nation!
  • Taylor’s official LSAT score was above or equal to 91.6 percent of the nation – as a result, her opportunities to gain law school admission and scholarship into top-tier law schools went from impossible to a virtual certainty.
  • Taylor’s experience at ScoreItUp is in no way an isolated event.  Indeed, many students have seen LSAT score increases far greater – for example, Mark W. saw a 29-point LSAT score increase (earning a perfect 180 on the LSAT) and Michael R. saw a 21-point LSAT score increase (also earning a perfect 180 on the LSAT) after their ScoreItUp training.
  • A heartfelt congratulations to you, Taylor, for an outstanding achievement!
