Teachers Matter: Finland and South Korea Leading the Pack

In world-wide studies involving the performance of students, two countries routinely lead the pack:  Finland and South Korea.  The two countries have very different approaches to education – South Korea being very strict on children, and Finland being more relaxed.  However, their education systems do  have one thing in common:  excellent teachers.
